New Year’s Eve

My goodness, I can’t believe it’s been since Sept since I’ve posted. 

I’ve had a lot going on these past several months:  taking a glass class and real estate class, working on finances/legal stuff, doing some jewelry shows, work had been crazy/hectic, getting ready for the holidays, and then spending time with family (my favorite). whew!

Girl’s Night In

Taking a cue from my sister in law – Katie (aka:  http://dishinanddishes.wordpress.com/ ), me and some girlfriends did our own Girls’ Night In.  Check out the menu.  These Oklahoma girls can cook!:

Skewered tomatoes, olives and cheese.

Besides the appetizers and iced tea, we had a green salad with Italian dressing, French bread with herbed dipping oil & vinegar, green beans, spaghetti, and to top it all off….tiramisu and strawberries- Yum!  Our Hostess, Connie, also had a sweet little potted pansy flower for each of us.

Oh, we had happy tummies as well as great fellowship…time to get to know each other better and share what God’s doing on in our lives.

Changes

I’m tweaking and moving stuff around again.  I renamed my website:  www.cjlampwork.com

And renamed my Blog to CJ’s Lampwork & Life Blog….because it isn’t all about Lampwork.  There’s life in there too.  And God needs to be first, or nothing else happens.

I was just blessed this weekend to be a part of a Women’s Conference at our church (Emmaus Baptist) in South Oklahoma City.  What a blessing!  102 women came and shared and sang and just praised God.  Awesome!.
